Spicy Habanero Aioli Ham & Cheese Sensation
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, ciabatta, or whole grain) 
- 4 slices of deli ham 
- 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone) 
- 1 cup mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or lettuce) 
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced 
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise 
- 1 tbsp Twisted Olive Habanero Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) 
- 1 clove garlic, minced 
- Salt and pepper, to taste 
- Butter or additional olive oil for toasting 
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Twisted Olive Habanero EVOO, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the aioli. Set aside. 
- Lightly butter one side of each bread slice. Place the bread buttered-side down in a heated skillet over medium heat. 
- Layer the cheese slices on two of the bread slices, allowing them to melt slightly. Add the ham slices on top of the cheese. 
- Spread the Habanero EVOO aioli on the unbuttered side of the remaining bread slices. 
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the bread slices with aioli on top of the ham, aioli-side down. 
- Toast the sandwich until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted. Flip the sandwich if necessary to ensure even toasting. 
- Remove from the skillet and carefully open the sandwich. Add the mixed greens and tomato slices. 
- Close the sandwich, cut in half, and serve immediately.
