Truffle-Kissed Portobello Mushrooms with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients:

4 large Portobello mushrooms, stems removed

3 tbsp Twisted Olive Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Twisted Olive Glazed Onion balsamic vinegar

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Twisted Olive Glazed Onion EVOO, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the Portobello mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet, gill-side up.

  4. Brush the mushroom caps generously with the EVOO mixture, making sure to coat them well.

  5. Bake the mushrooms in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender and juicy.

  6. If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the mushrooms during the last 5 minutes of baking.

  7. Remove the mushrooms from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
